Welcome to 48 Broad. And 48 Broad! The former is a street address in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The latter is my collection of linked stories that takes place there in the spring of 1986.
The address is real, but the stories are fiction. Sure, my childhood served as a launch pad, but from there I blast off into many flights of fancy. While I sorely wish I could say I really did befriend the ghost of a violin prodigy with whom I carried on a philosophical rapport about such topics as toys and candy and girls and sibling rivalry, alas...
